Fulvic Minerals

This is a close up of the dried shale from which Tracite® Fulvic Minerals are water extracted.

Humus, the organic matter in soil, is formed by the microbial degradation of dead plants. It is made up of three classes of matter.

humin

The largest percentage of soil organic matter, humin is a black, organic residue. It has the biggest molecules (up to 1,000 times the size of humic acid), non-soluble, slow degrading portion, not as active in complex nutrients. It increases water-holding capacity and improves soil structure. If you have ever tried to grow plants in clay, you’ll know how important humus is for soil structure.

humic acid

Humic acids are the medium-sized molecules of humic substances and are much smaller than humin but with more cumulative surface area. The increase in surface area and solubility of humic acids greatly increase its activity in the soil and its ability to complex many different types of nutrients. Humic acids will also increase water-holding capacity and structure of soil. Since humic acid is not as stable as humin, it will degrade to become fulvic acid.

fulvic acid

Fulvic acids are a family of organic acids, natural compounds, and components of humus. They are the smallest of the three molecules and the most water soluble over a wide pH range. Fulvic acids are of relatively low molecular mass and are biologically more active than humic acid. Due to their reactivity and solubility, fulvic acids are the most highly “plant active” and also the least stable. Fortunately, due to their small size they are able to enter plant roots and leaf tissue while carrying complex nutrients.

Fulvic and other humic acids contain a very wide range of nutrients (trace minerals, electrolytes, fatty acids, silica (which boosts collagen synthesis), prebiotics and probiotics) that improve gut health and immune function in humans.

The derivation of the word fulvic from www.miriam-webster.com: New Latin fulvum from... ...Penicillium griseofulvum, a species of fungus) + English -ic

What Are Minerals?

Most of what we see in our environment is made up of many things. Minerals are not. Minerals are chemical elements. A chemical element is a basic building block of the universe. It is not composed of two or more different things so cannot be broken down into something smaller. For instance water, H2O, is made up of two elements, Hydrogen and Oxygen, neither of which can be broken down into anything else.

Minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and zinc are chemical elements that come from the earth. They are required by the body in order for it to perform many different functions. For instance calcium is required to make bones. Calcium absorption into the bones is aided by the minerals phosphorus and potassium and the vitamins D and K. Zinc is required for healthy hair and skin, iron for the blood and so on.

Minerals make up 4% of our body weight. Men are about 60% water and women are 55% (less water in fat - gotta love those curves). A mineral component of 4% of total body weight translates to 10% of the non-water content for a male. That’s quite a bit. Especially if you are not getting enough of them!

What Are Fulvic Minerals?

Fulvic Minerals are minerals combined with fulvic acid. (NOT to be confused with Folic Acid, the synthetic form of vitamin B9 - Folate.)

Fulvic acids are created in extremely small amounts by millions of microbes working on decaying plant matter. The most potent and active fulvic acids are found in soil from decomposed, prehistoric plant life.

So what does fulvic acid from microbes eating rotting plants got to do with you and me?

Fulvic acid is an extremely powerful antioxidant! It renders free radicals harmless by either restoring them into useable compounds or eliminating them as waste.

Fulvic acid is a powerful detoxifier. It scavenges heavy metals and detoxifies pollutants.

Fulvic acid is so powerful that a single molecule can transport more than 60 times it’s own weight in minerals and other nutrients into the cells. Fulvic acid makes nutrients more absorbable. It maintains cellular integrity and aids in the cellular detoxification process. This results in fulvic minerals having a potentially large impact on body health.

Before I provide further data to answer your questions about Fulvic Minerals, permit me to share some important information about our current frame of reference.

Most people will die from a degenerative disease. Degenerative diseases are heart disease, stroke, cancer, Alzheimer’s, dementia, diabetes etc.

There are five contributory factors for degenerative disease. They are inflammation, glycation (sugar bonding with protein to clog the system), oxidation (free radical damage), toxification and inadequate nutrients.

Both our food and body are being bombarded with pollutants. This increases the toxic load on our body. Our livestock is raised on nutritionally deficient soils. Our food crops are grown in nutritionally deficient soils. Lack of exercise, pollutants, toxins and eating the wrong types of food and a lack of nutrients is causing obesity, degenerative disease and an early death for anybody who follows the norm.

So I have decided not to follow the norm! I have increased my vegetable intake, cut out unfermented soy, almost completely eliminated wheat and dairy, replaced refined and processed foods with a wider range of raw nutrients and added vitamins, other supplements and Fulvic Minerals to my diet as well as increased my exercise regime. This is what I am doing personally to counter these 5 factors that lead to degenerative disease. I’d like to help you do the same.

I imported some Fulvic Minerals from Ralf Ostertag at http://www.minerallogic.com to put in the food bars I create. At the time he did not have an Australian distributor so I said I would help out and stock them for him. (He has now appointed a distributor.)

Why Take a Mineral Supplement?

According to a lot of data I have read, almost no matter where we live, our food supply is deficient in minerals. So if you don’t supplement, your body is most likely malnourished. Here is just some of that data.

The Food and Nutrition Board currently recommends that supplements or fortified foods be used to obtain desirable amounts of some minerals.

Most multi-vitamins contain very few minerals.

In a newsletter I received from Dr Al Sears he says this of the mineral Boron. It used to be in the fruits and vegetables you eat. But commercial farming has depleted our soil from many of the minerals you need to stay healthy. And boron is a big player. Your prostate needs it to stay happy and healthy. A man who lives to age 80 has a 90% chance of having an enlarged prostate gland. Boron helps to maintain your prostate gland at the normal size. Especially as a guy, it’s just one mineral you don’t want to miss out on!

This is not new news! in 1936, the 2nd Session of the 74th Congress of the United States Senate was warned that the American people faced major mineral depletion due to “modern” farming methods. The Senate Report was based on a study conducted by Dr. Charles Northern. It was further supported by research completed at Yale, Rutgers, John Hopkins, Columbia and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Dr. Northern demonstrated “that countless human ills stem from the fact that impoverished soil of America no longer provided plant foods with mineral elements essential to human nourishment and health.”

The Senate report made the following points.

“Our physical well-being is more directly dependent upon minerals we take into our systems than upon calories or vitamins, or upon precise proportions of starch, protein or carbohydrates we consume.”

“Do you know that most of us today are suffering from certain dangerous diet deficiencies which cannot be remedied until depleted soils from which our food comes are brought into proper mineral balance?”

“Laboratory test prove that the fruits, the vegetables, the grains, the eggs, and even the milk and the meats of today are not what they were a few generations ago.”

“It is not commonly realized, however, that vitamins control the body’s appropriation of minerals, and in the absence of minerals they have no function to perform. Lacking vitamins, the system can make some use of minerals, but lacking minerals, vitamins are useless.”

As mentioned in the Senate report, lack of minerals in our soil even affects our vitamin intake. Organ meats were once high in B12. Not so any more. In 1989 and 1990 nutritional researcher, Sylvia Ruth Gray, commissioned lab tests which showed zero B12 in beef liver, Swiss cheese and chicken breast and only 2.19 micrograms in beef heart. The tests done in 1960 showed 122, 1.71, .5 and 14.2 mcg respectively. The sharp decline in B12 was attributed by Gray to pollution and mineral depleted soil. The mineral cobalt promotes B12 synthesis.

Now if the 1936 projections for an increase in degenerative disease as a direct result of nutrient depletion were not motivating enough for you to be racing for a mineral supplement, digest this! Recent tests prove conclusively that the vitamin and mineral content of food today is far lower now than it was 50 years ago. Compared to crops raised 50 years ago a Canadian study found that potatoes have lost:

100% of vitamin A
57% of vitamin C
57% of iron
28% of Calcium

A US study found similarly. From the start to the end of the 20th century the average mineral content declined 75% from 400mg to 50 mg in cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes and spinach.

Think about that for a moment. To get the same mineral content at the end of the 20th century you would need to consume four times as many calories as needed at the end of the 19th century!

Compared to a human body, a car engine is extremely simple. It runs on petrol or diesel. If you put petrol in a diesel engine or diesel in a petrol engine it just doesn’t run and you could destroy it. If you have a high performance car and you put low octane fuel in it, it will still run but three things will happen:

  • you won’t get as much power from the engine
  • you’ll hear the engine knock
  • it will not last as long

Human bodies are remarkable things. Each cell in the body has its own engine. Like a car, to deliver maximum power, this cell engine requires the right fuel. In the case of the cell, optimum nutrition. Because they are self-monitoring and self-regulating, bodies will do the best they can with whatever you feed them, good or bad. The normal person is putting very low octane fuel in their potentially high performance body. Their body does with this low octane fuel what it can, but like a car engine it:

  • delivers less energy
  • gets sick and develops diseases
  • ages faster and dies earlier than it should

Compared to bodies, cars are far simpler and far easier to maintain. A car has a fuel gauge so we can see when it is running on empty. If we put low octane fuel in it, we hear the engine knock.

Our body does not have a fuel gauge for its vitamin and mineral content. We don’t get a blood test done to check the mineral levels. We can’t tell if we are running on empty. We are not taught to recognise the source of or respond appropriately to our body’s equivalent of engine knock. Most doctors are not trained in nutrition. If you have a problem with your body, the normal handling is to feed it drugs. All most drugs do is put masking tape over the fuel gauge! They do not address the underlying causes - inflammation, glycation, oxidation, toxification and nutrient depletion.

Is it any wonder we are suffering degenerative diseases in far greater numbers than our grandparents? All this contributes to an early death for large numbers of us. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be one of them! To avoid it, I am prepared to do things differently from those that normal people do.

I encourage you to do your own homework, arrive at your own conclusions and avoid the common mistakes most of us make.

Why Take a Fulvic Mineral Supplement?

A mineral supplement is as good as:

  • it contains all the minerals the body requires
  • in sufficient amounts to satisfy the requirements of the body
  • in a form easily assimilated by the body

If the mineral supplement does not have all the minerals the body needs, or they are in too small an amount or they are not assimilable, then that supplement is not optimal. Having fulvic acid with your mineral supplement promotes better absorption of the minerals in the supplement.

Fulvic acids that mature over millions of years form a dense complex of organic acids and ionic minerals. These fulvic acids form a matrix that cannot be replicated in a lab.

Most commercial fulvic acid products available on the market are “first generation” fulvic acids extracted from the fermentation of peat and sugar, or are a byproduct of coal manufacturing. These sources of fulvic are chemically extracted from the source material. Independent analyses show they have fewer organic acids and other trace elements than these fulvic minerals.

The process of chemically extracting fulvic acid removes or destroys other organic acids.

Organic acids turn insoluble minerals into bioavailable molecules that living organisms can use.

These fulvic minerals are water extracted so contain beneficial nutrients not found in chemically extracted products.

Why Use These Particular Fulvic Minerals?

If you are already taking a multi-vitamin, multi-mineral supplement, grab the bottle and read the contents. Most have very few minerals, maybe 5 to 10. By comparison, TraciteTM Fulvic Minerals have 77 minerals and trace elements!

Absorption of minerals can vary according to their form. Tracite Fulvic Minerals come from 40 million year old plant matter. Just as an ant can carry four times its weight, fulvic acid is so powerful that one single molecule is capable of carrying more than 60 times its weight in minerals and trace elements into the cells. The greater the fulvic acid content, the greater the absorption of minerals and other nutrients.

Tracite Fulvic Minerals come from a shale deposit of decomposed, prehistoric plant life from 40 million years ago. They are very, very old so they contain no e-Coli bacteria that have been found in fulvic acid products created from more recent deposits. Because the deposit was created so long ago when the mineral content of the plants was far higher, the concentration of minerals in the deposit is also higher. This particular deposit is, as far as is known, unique, because it includes deposits from both land and oceanic vegetation.

The links below leads to a demonstration of just how different these fulvic minerals are to those sold elsewhere. The brand under which the minerals are sold in the USA, from where this video originates, is different from here in Oz but both brands come from the same mine and the same manufacturer.

Here’s a link to a video on YouTube of a comparison of concentrations of Fulvic Minerals with others http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4lj3r6VqoU and another showing how quickly results are obtained using Fulvic Minerals as a catalyst (a catalyst speeds up a chemical reaction) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oMuLif73Hs and, lastly, one showing the conductivity of the higher concentration of minerals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFZawBFWEKE.

In addition to the quality of the product itself, the mineral concentrate is packaged in miron violettglas to protect the quality of the ingredients. http://www.miron-glas.com/en

Liquid or Powder?

I can now offer a much more economical way of getting the minerals - the powder form I use in my top bars and powders.

The material starts out as a rock and is water extracted. This makes the content of the dropper bottles.

The powder is just the powdered rock. It is easier for most consumers to measure out drops than weigh .1 of a gram so it is mostly sold that way.

I buy the powder for use in my top line health food bars. I put 12 grams of powder in the mix that makes 120 bars to deliver one of the two recommended daily doses. Much, much more economical for me to do so with the powder with no loss of nutrients for the bar eater.

I have a natural therapies consultant who asked if she could purchase the powder version of the minerals.

I wondered how much you would/could save with the powder over the bottle. This is what I computed.

I measured how many drops in a gram. It is 7 drops per gram. The bottles are 50 ml/grams of liquid so hold 350 drops.

So if one weighed 70 kilos (it’s what I weigh) you would use 9 drops or just over a gram of liquid, morning and night. 350 drops divided by 9 = 39 serves.

$79 divided by 39 serves = $2.02 a serve.

The powder is 10 times more concentrated than the liquid.

If you got 100 grams of powder from me at $169, at 5 grams of powder a bottle, that would make up 20 bottles. Yep! A lot cheaper to buy the powder! and that’s not even factoring in the cost of postage for repeat purchases of the liquid. At the recommended two serves a day the powder would last that sized person about a year.

.1 of a gram of Fulvic Mineral powder twice per day with some apple cider vinegar, lemon or lime juice (to aid absorption) in water.

The mineral powder does not age, so it can sit in a cupboard.

Most people do not have scales that can measure .1 of a gram so I bought a bunch so I can pass them on at $15.

Here is a picture with a teaspoon containing 5 grams of the fulvic acid minerals:

Where Can I Learn More About Fulvic Minerals?

The “Missing Link” of Nutrition

The interest in Free-form Fulvic Acids has exploded in recent years, paving the way for extensive research. Scientists from around the world are beginning to recognize the extraordinary potential of Fulvic Acids. Referring to it as the ’Elixir of Life’ and the ’Missing Link’ of nutrition, scientists have theorized that without fulvic acid, life would not exist! Despite the fact that scientists world-wide have published thousands of papers relative to fulvic acids and their effects in living systems, fulvic acids have received limited public exposure because of the inability to synthetically produce and commercialize these substances.

New benefits to humans, animals and plant life are being discovered as science examines the most complex molecules in all of nature. Some currently-known benefits of Free-form Fulvic Acid are:

Nature’s Most Powerful Antioxidant!

Fulvic acid is nature’s most powerful antioxidant, scavenging and rendering free radicals inert by reacting with both negatively and positively charged unpaired electrons. If it encounters free radicals with unpaired positive electrons, fulvic acid supplies an equal and opposite negative charge to neutralize the bad effects of the free radicals. Likewise, if the free radicals carry a negative charge, the fulvic acid molecule can supply positive unpaired electrons to nullify that charge. An abundance of molecular donor and receptor sites along the molecular chains of fulvic acids lend themselves to a large diversity of chemical reactions, able to react with more compounds than any other antioxidant in nature. This makes fulvic acids far more powerful than other well known anti-oxidants like Vitamin E, CoQ-10 and Vitamin C.

Incredible Delivery System!

Increasing nutrient delivery to the cells, Fulvic Acid is so powerful that a single molecule can transport more than 60 times its own weight in minerals, vitamins and enzymes. Having a dramatic impact on health, fulvic acid is the element that makes nutrients absorbable. It maintains cellular integrity and aids in the cellular detoxification process. Many supplement companies are now beginning to add free-form fulvic acid to nutrient formulas to boost effectiveness and overall cellular absorption.

50,000 ppm - 80,000 ppm Free Form Fulvic Acid!

Researchers consider water extracts of 30 parts per million (ppm) as being a high concentration. Mineral Logic uses the natural chelating characteristics of fulvic acids to further extract more fulvic acids and minerals in subsequent production runs. This method is called “Fulvic Carry-Over Extraction,” and is the patent-pending production process developed and perfected by Mineral Logic. Our exclusive process cannot be copied by other manufacturers since other source material lacks the abundance and diversity of naturally-occurring ingredients evident in our source material. True free-from fulvic acid deposits close to the earth’s surface are rare. Mineral Logic harvests, cures and processes the source material in a way that spares fulvic acids, minerals, trace elements and enzymes. This is essential for creating a pure, mineral-rich free-form fulvic acid product.

Super Electrolyte!

Fulvic acid is one of the most powerful natural electrolytes known to exist. It charges, regenerates, regulates, and delivers its energies to living cells. It balances cellular life by restoring the electrical potential that was once normal to the cell. This fact in and of itself is amazing! This powerful, natural electrolyte can act as an acceptor or as a donor in the creation of electrochemical balance. The power of an electrolyte has been shown in repeated tests on animal cells (giant amoeba); to be able to restore life in what researchers termed ’a beautiful demonstration’ and ’astonishing.’ When the electrolyte potential was taken away during the test, the cell ruptured and disintegrated into the surrounding fluid, dying. Upon re-introducing electrical potential, the cell reconstructed and became active and healthy. These studies show convincingly that the physical well-being of plants, animals, and humans is determined by proper electrical potential.

Nature’s Perfect Mineral Blend!

Free-form Fulvic Acids are created in extremely small amounts by millions of microbes working on decaying plant matter. The most potent and active fulvic acids are found in trace amounts in certain humic deposits from prehistoric plant life. Fulvic acids are ready in natural form to interact with and be absorbed by living cells. Maintaining the environment by dissolving mineral complexes and elements, fulvic acid causes cells to bio-react electrically with one another. This produces catalytic reactions, electron transfer, and transmutations into new minerals, creating a perfect blend of organic minerals and trace elements chelated by humic and fulvic acids. The greater the humic and fulvic acid content of a deposit the greater the overall mineral and trace element content. Minerals delivered by fulvic acids are unrivaled in quality, bio-efficiency and electrical potential. Nature’s perfect mineral blend!

Extraordinary Plant Food!

Adding fulvic acid to our soil creates a nurturing environment, producing healthier plants with greater crop yields. The overuse of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and erosion prohibit microbial activity and the formation of fulvic acids within a medium. Our farmlands are in “poor health” from these patterns. Fulvic acid minerals and trace elements have the potential to correct unhealthy soils and growing mediums, in addition to supplying much-needed organic mineral complexes.

Nature’s Most Efficient Molecule!

Fulvic Acids are necessary for the utilization of vitamins, enzyme production, and hormone structures. They are essential to living cells carrying out metabolic processes. Fulvic acid balances and energizes cell life, and the biological properties it comes into contact with. Cells absorb nutrients chelated by (biochemically bound) fulvic acids with far greater efficiency. Whether these natural compounds are ions (single molecule), or colloids (groupings of molecules), has little bearing on absorption. Remember; there is no such thing as a non-ionic mineral! The term ionic simply refers to something that bears an electrical charge of some kind. When a mineral product contains no fulvic colloids, it is not a free-form fulvic acid product! Organic minerals derived from once-living plant matter have to be ion-containing colloids rich in free-form humic and fulvic acids.

Organic Key Ingredient!

Understand that the total metabolism of the body is the sum of the metabolic operations carried on in each individual. Cells, when properly nourished, are capable of producing many of their own factors necessary for metabolic processes. Each cell burns its own energy, maintains itself, manufactures its own enzymes, creates its own proteins and duplicates itself. Fulvic Acids are a key ingredient to making all of this possible. Mineral-rich, free-form fulvic acids are severely lacking in modern diets. The cellular protection and benefits that result from consuming fulvic acids--especially fulvic acids with prehistoric plant-matter origins--are well worth the price of supplementation.

A Leap Forward for Nutrition Science!

In the near future, most nutritional supplements for humans, animals and agriculture will contain some form of fulvic acid. Scientists have theorized about the ’missing link’ of nutrition ... they now believe it to be FREE-FORM FULVIC ACIDS, rich in minerals and trace elements, that have all passed through the roots of plants to form Nature’s Perfect Mineral Blend!

Donor and Receptor Molecule!

Fulvic Acid is available at times as a donor and at other times as an acceptor, based on the cell’s requirements for balance. One of the reactions that occur is always an oxidation reaction in which the chemical species loses electrons as a donor. The other reaction is a reduction in which the active species gains electrons as an acceptor. Trace mineral enzymes in the fulvic acid electrolyte may serve as electrodes. These molecular characteristics allow fulvic acids to donate ions to reactions that form new mineral complexes, stimulate cellular function, carry other nutrients into cellular structures and deliver respiration as well as increased electrical potential. The receptor sites along the complex chains of a fulvic acid molecules act as cellular toxin magnets, binding them and rendering them harmless to other cells and body functions.

Detoxifies Pollutants!

An important aspect of humic substances, including fulvic acids, is related to their sorptive interaction with environmental chemicals, either before or after they reach concentrations toxic to living organisms. The toxic herbicide known as Paraquat, for example, is rapidly detoxified by humic substances. Fulvic acids are nature’s most potent detoxifier, seeking out and absorbing or reacting with toxins, preparing them for easy mobilization via the eliminative organs. This takes place on both a cellular and systemic level and is largely due to their special electrical properties and their colloidal molecular chains. Studies have shown that these complex natural substances have the ability to neutralize radiation and its effect on exposed living cells. Other studies have shown their ability to remove cellular and systemic waste from animal and plant life.

100% Organic Plant Origin!

Viewing our source material from our humic deposit is convincing evidence that the deposit is indeed humic plant matter millions of years in the making. (View Fulvic - Humic Source Material Photographs) The profusion of colors--especially the greens, are unique to our humic material. The organic crystals throughout the deposit are further evidence of its organic origins. Most humic deposits are located deep in a mountain or underground subjected to great pressures creating heat that is harmful to the delicate fulvic substances. Since humans and animals are dependent on solar energy converted (at least primarily) by plants into nutrients that our bodies can process, we can benefit from supplementing ourselves, our soils, or, the animals that feed us with sources that contain high concentrations of a full spectrum of nutrients already digested by plants. Concentrations of plant-digested micronutrients in our fulvic mineral products are so high and so readily available to the human body that adding them to one’s diet (not omitting the fresh fruit and vegetables) enables the cell’s intake of additional nutrients-nutrients that may not otherwise be available from the diet.

Cellular Longevity!

Nucleic and amino acids, remnants of once living cells, are major components of fulvic acids. These acids are possibly preserved indefinitely in-tact within fulvic substances, and may also have healthy benefits to the cell, which absorbs fulvic acid readily because of its low molecular weight. Since fulvic acid is also an electrolyte, it increases the permeability of cell membranes, enhances RNA and DNA metabolism, reverses damage done by toxic substances and prolongs the resident-time of nutrients within the medium. (Fulvic acid colloids increase DNA and RNA synthesis. Retarded DNA and RNA synthesis and metabolism speeds the death of cells and therefore hastens the aging process.)

FAQs

What is the % of Fulvic acid in your product?

Fulvic-Humic Minerals consistently test for 50,000 part per million to 100,000 part per million fulvic acid. This can also be stated as 5% to 10% fulvic acid content; beware of anyone claiming more than 10% fulvic acid content! Fulvic acids appear in minute quantities in nature. Products containing more than 4% fulvic acid content by the time they reach the marketplace are rare. Some claim as much as 70% fulvic acid content while displaying elsewhere a 20% humic acid content and a 20 - 35% mineral content.

Anyone with at least some chemistry classes in their background can quickly see that this makes no sense. 70% = 700,000 ppm (parts per million or milligrams per liter), 20% = 200,000 ppm or milligrams per liter, and 35% mineral content = 350,000 ppm or milligrams per liter. A liter of water only has a million parts available for anything to be dissolved, suspended or dispersed in the water. A million-ppm or milligrams per liter within the medium would be a solid…Like salt when stirred into water, one can only dissolve, disperse or suspend so much of a solid before the saturation point is reached and no more of the solid will dissolve. Products containing 500,000 ppm of any substance would be thick sludgy heavy syrup. So let’s add these numbers: 700,000 ppm + 200,000 ppm + 350,000 ppm = 1,250,000 ppm--IMPOSSIBLE! Please, do not be fooled by such false and misleading claims. Ask for proof …ask for analyses proving fulvic acid content and mineral content!

Is your product tested by independent laboratories?

Absolutely! We test regularly for mineral content, fulvic acid content, humic acid content, amino acid content, plate counts and heavy metals. If you want to know what’s really in any fulvic or trace mineral product ask the company for an analysis proving their claims. Ask what the source of the raw material is.

What is the difference between “Fulvic Acids” and “Humic Acids?”

Fulvic acids ARE humic acids that are lighter- weight molecules higher in oxygen than non-fulvic humic acids. An expert in Fulvic - Humic science is quoted as saying; “Fulvic Acids are simply older Humic Acids.” Both fulvic and non-fulvic humic acids have health benefits, but they always appear together displaying various ratios to one another in their natural state. Humic acids have stronger antiviral and antibacterial properties while fulvic acids have more nutritional and detoxification benefits. Fulvic-Humic Minerals Contain both Fulvic and Humic acids.

I have read that a fulvic-humic acid is fungal derived is this acurate?

There are sevreal ways that one can “manufacture” fulvic-humic acids by composting plant matter adding a type of fungus to begin microbial action. Although this method produces minute quantities of fulvic - humic acid it is a “first generation” fulvic - humic acid. It is intended for use as a fertilizor and can benefit plants. This type of fulvic-humic acid contains the simplest of fulvic acid molecules much like sea water. Our product is fulvic-humic acid that has been acted upon by microbes over millions of years creating far superior forms of very “complex” fulvic-humic acid molecules. These complex molecules are the best of the best with excellent mineral content and deliver far greater benefits than 1st generation agricultural grade fulvic-humic acids. Warning! - Fulvic -Humic acids coming from China can be contaminated with e-coli. They are intended for the soil and should not be used for human consumtion.

Will products that have a low pH acidify the body?

Although Vitamin C or Citric acid in citrus fruits are acidic, they will alkalize the blood, body fluids and tissues as long as they remain unheated. Fulvic and Humic acids containing sufficient mineral content are in the same category as Vitamin C. Once a few drops of our Fulvic-Humic Mineral is placed in water or juice the pH of the original liquid is a “non issue.” It’s nothing more than a marketing tactic to suggest that mineals with a pH that is not 7.0 will acidify the body. Products that claim to be pH neutral and contain Fulvic Acid” have created an oxymoron. Our product is acidic because of its high fulvic and humic acid content unadulterated by neutralizing agents to bring the pH to 7.0. Neutral pH means NO free form fulvic acid…only reacted fulvic ccompounds …useless if you expect to get the benefits of fulvic acid!

Are Ionic minerals superior to colloidal minerals?

A mineral has to contain an electrical charge or it wouldn’t be a mineral. According to peer journals within the scientific community that have researched fulvic and humic acids extensively, all fulvic and humic acids are colloids. Fulvic - Humic Acid colloids have the unique ability to give-up single ions for delivery or imparting the benefits of the mineral content to the cells. They also have the unique ability to take on or bind undesirable ions in the body removing (or detoxifying) them from the system. This is primarily due to the donor (giving up an ion) and receptor (taking on an ion) sites contained within the structure of these very complex molecules. This is in part the reason why fulvic and humic acid molecules cannot be synthesized. Also, please remember that all living cells are complex “colloidal” mediums.

So what is a Nano sized Fulvic Acid?

The term Nano is another clever marketing tactic to convince the consumer that a special or secret extraction process creates nano sized particles (particles of very small size) fulvic acid. ALL FULVIC ACIDS are Nano size …nature took care of that with no seceret or special process needed to extract them! Companies making this claim are selling leonordite or lignite (a type of coal) source fulvic acid most of which is water content with very low mineral content. Does the product contain naturally occuring trace amounts of amino acids; proof of its plant origin? Marketers who claim that their fulvic acid product has a neutral pH are NOT selling fulvic acid minerals but neutralized compounds no longer containing the benefits of free form fulvic acids. If it’s not acidic it’s not Fulvic or Humic acid! Ask for an independent laboratory analysis if you choose to see the true makeup of any Fulvic/Humic acid product.

What is the difference between Ionic, Colloidal and Angstrom (also called Nano) Minerals?

Colloids are groups of molecules held together by special electrical properties dispersed or suspended in a liquid. Ions are single molecules with an electric charge. Angstrom (nano) merely refers to the size of the ions. To qualify as angstrom size the ion must be a unit of measurement that equals one ten-billionth of a meter or less in size. Fulvic - Humic Acid minerals contain all three states making them the most unique and complex molecules in nature. Science is yet to synthesize colloids that are able to release single ions of angstrom size at the appropriate time and place within the body and cells. The statement that “Colloids are not easily absorbed” is true for any other colloids because they do not contain the complex variety of donor and receptor sites that fulvic colloids do.

Does your company use a proprietary process?

We use only purified water to extract the minerals from our deposit material. Chemicals of any kind are never used. We have no need to hide behind a “proprietary or secret process,” since our deposit material is among the rarest on earth...for this reason our product cannot be duplicated. Some marketers make the statement that “No harmful chemicals are used in their process” … Notice it does not say “NO Chemicals of any kind are ever used.”

Is your product 100% fulvic in solution?

This statement appears on numerous websites. All fulvic acid is soluble at all pH ranges ... YES our product is 100% dissolved fulvic and humic acids. This, however, does NOT mean that a product is 100% fulvic acid-no fulvic -humic acid mineral product can be 100% Fulvic Acid.

Some claim their product is the #1 rated “Fulvic Minerals” or “Fulvic Acid.” How is your product rated?

Currently organizations that would rate or certify fulvic-humic acid minerals and release or post a rating do not exist! This is nothing more than clever marketing, anyone can make this statement. We prefer to let the results our customer’s experience do the “rating.”

What is the % of humic acid in your product?

Since all fulvic acids are humic acids a more accurate question would be what is the (non-fulvic) humic acid content of your product? Our product contains from .45 (4500 ppm) to 1% (10,000 ppm) non-fulvic humic acid content. Most batches test for a combined Fulvic Acid and Humic Acid content of over 60,000 ppm or mg per liter!

Is your product plant-derived?

It is of plant origin; to say it is “palnt derived” suggests that the product is a direct extraction of plants. YES, our product is of plant origin it is extracted from a source material that was once a living rain forest. Our Minerals have been tested for amino acid content. If a fulvic-humic mineral is of plant origin, it must contain trace amounts of all amino acids. It should also contain carbon, iron and at least 60 or more trace minerals and elements. To say that a product is plant derived but is actually extracted from a humic deposit is at best inaccurate and potentially misleading.

What can I expect to feel from taking your Fulvic -Humic mineral concentrate?

Most people will first notice a more consistent and “even” flow of daily energy and endurance. For those who suffer from health problems, several weeks of supplementation may be needed in order to notice the energy boost. The benefits of taking Fulvic - Humic Minerals are diverse. Improvements in health and absorption of nutrients from foods and other supplements will increase. Hair, nails, teeth and skin will gradually become much healthier. Digestive and bowel health will improve, while many of the aches and pains of age and daily stress can be reduced and often eliminated.

Are these minerals safe to ingest on a daily basis?

Fulvic-Humic Minerals have been and continue to be tested by several independent laboratories for mineral content, trace mineral content, trace element content, fulvic acid and humic acid content, heavy metals, plate counts (no yeast, fungus, bacteria or mold appears), amino acid content and insecticide residue (none appears in the product). Our Fulvic-Humic Minerals have an 80-year track record of safe and beneficial use by humans and animals alike with no report of adverse or harmful effects reported. We spare no expense to make sure our Fulvic-Humic Minerals are the finest and most scientifically supported Fulvic-Humic Minerals on the market.

How are these fulvic minerals any different than others?

Many of the minerals on the market are made from a coal (lignite or leonordite) that is low in BTU’s, making it undesirable as a fuel. Although such material does contain about 2% to 6% fulvic acid content (bound mostly to carbon), Fulvic-Humic Minerals contain far greater quantities of viable nutrients, including minerals and trace minerals. In fact, the carbon content of lignite or leonordite-type source material is very high, making it impossible to concentrate the end product. (To do so would drive the heavy metal content beyond acceptable levels.) These products are usually a light yellow in color, contain no significant amount of trace mineral content, have a diluted mineral and fulvic acid content and are usually sold in 32 oz. containers. Fulvic-Humic Minerals are extracxted from a rare humic deposit and contains no coal based, leonordite or lignite source ingredients without the added water!

How do your minerals compare to Great Salt Lake Minerals?

Mineral products derived from salt lake sources are good as a magnesium supplement but contain high amounts of chloride (600 mg per serving) with no detectable levels of amino acids, fulvic or humic acids. You can eat sea salt and get a better variety of trace mineral content (10-20 trace minerals and elements) although it contains NO Fulvic Acids, Humic Acids or Amino Acids. Fulvic-Humic Minerals contain generous quantities of fulvic, humic and amino acids, minerals, trace minerals and trace elements… Our product is manufactured from a true plant- origin deposit

Can your mineral be taken while on prescription medicines?

Yes. Our Fulvic-Humic Minerals are safe to ingest while on prescription medicines. Our product is a nutrition product and will have no adverse effect on those taking prescription medicines as long as one observes the recommended daily serving. If you have doubts or you have a serious life threating illness it’s always prudent to check first with your primary physician before changing anything in your diet, supplement program or medications.

Will your minerals supplement my need for calcium and magnesium?

NO. Fulvic-Humic minerals are “Trace Minerals” and are meant to supplement what is lacking in most foods. Trace element and trace mineral deficiencies can have profound effects on our overall health. Calcium and other macro-minerals like Magnesium are best supplemented by taking Calcium and Magnesium in the form of a citrate, orotate, lactate, gluconate or amino acid chelates. Avoid the use of coral calcium, calcium carbonate or oxide forms of magnesium and zinc from limestone.

Can Children use Fulvic-Humic Minerals?

Yes. We recommend 1 (one) drop per 20 lbs. of body weight. Children under 30 lbs. or less than 3 years of age should not be given supplements unless specifically directed by a Physician.

What about Pets?

Adding a few drops daily to your pet’s water supply will impart the same benefits that us humans experience when supplying good nutrition with adaequate mnineral intake. Place 1 (one) per 10 lbs. of body weight in the amount of drinking water your pet consumes in a 24 hour period. Never give your pet chlorinated water.

I have read that Fulvic-Humic Minerals are great as a topical application for the skin is this true?

Yes! Simply place 10 drops in 2 cups of distilled water and spray on the skin twice daily. Skin cells absorb the minerals and other ingredients directly. Your skin will feel smoother and softer after two weeks of taking them internally and using them externally as well.

Does your product contain “Oxygen?”

Yes! Our Fulvic/Humic Minerals contain 10%-15% naturally occuring oxygen. There are many products on the market claiming to be “Oxygen” rich products. Many will only list this ingredient as “Dissolved Oxygen.” These products either contain sodium chlorite, deurterium sulfate or hydrogen peroxide. All are chemical forms usually mixed with other ingredients.

Why are there no vitamins added to your minerals?

Adding any other ingredients would cause the fulvic and humic acid molecules to “react” with the ingredients neutralizing the fulvic and humic acid molecules turning them into compounds. This causes a loss of the benefits attributed to “free form fulvic and humic acids”.

The manufacturer of Tracite has a great quantity of information available on his web site at: http://www.minerallogic.com

This is a video from a Dr Whiting taking about the necessity of trace minerals in our diet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1VTkg_O4IA

All minerals are ionic- they carry an electrical charge:
anionic negatively charged
cationic positively charged

Bioavailable means they are more available - they have increased absorption rates.

Minerals are absorbed in the body faster in an acidic environment. Avoid alkaline products when drinking fulvic minerals.

Colloids are small particles and are more readily absorbed.
